Each day the staff @ Sweet Basil sit down to a meal before work. What's cooked for the table is a variety of dishes with all the flavours and spices of a real Bangkok meal. Daily the traditional techniques of Thai cooking are challenged and fused together with fine Australian produce to result in a soulful dish that has an innovative touch. This is the essence & style of sweet Basil Modern Thai Cuisine.

Sweet basil has a full Thai-kitchen-staff, headed up by chef Sangvorn Meelmulthong. At his side, with wonderful assistance, executive Chef Natakhran Mimulthong.

Front of house is managed by the ever smiling and constantly friendly Madame Tuk.

Sweet Basil is open Tuesday to Sunday. Monday is our day of rest.

Dinner starts at 6pm til late. Lunch bookings for nine or more people by arrangement.

Sweet Basil is fully licensed and BYO wine only. Bookings are essential.

And if you've forgotten to bring home your favouite bottle of wine for that evening meal, we'll now home deliver that too.
